SHAPESHIFTER is a custom-designed web template that is a winning combination of beauty, utility and economy.

Created in collaboration with talented WP developer Chris Burbridge. SHAPESHIFTER is a bridge between a web site designed from scratch and a generic template or theme such as provided by WordPress. It has an elegant user interface, flip books, slide shows and ‘designer-friendly’ content management. Plus, because its WordPress, anyone can go into the back-end and edit or add pages, images, or content.

SHAPESHIFTER is built on principles of sacred geometry. Natural structures, like the platonic solids for example, allow for infinite diversity within a very simple geometrical framework. Just FIVE forms are the geometric basis for the infinite diversity of forms in nature. Similarly, the design allows for changes in look and feel to be made that can dramatically change the site without having to rewrite the code. This reduces the costs of design and implementation by about 40% from a normal web site of this caliber.

Features
Some of the features mentioned below can be changed with 1-click by the site administrator, and some of them need a little more programming or design expertise, but either way it will save you time and money, and allow you to make changes more easily.

  • Background image rescales to browser window size. This ingenious feature created by WordPress wizard Chris Burbridge allows the background image to become a part of the communication of the site, and not just a tiled pattern.
  • Background image can be changed globally for entire site, or changed on individual pages. This allows you to make completely unique internal pages within your overall brand theme.
  • Flip books or Slide shows can be installed wherever you want them. What’s great about this is that once installed you can add images, change the wording, keep it fresh and dynamic yourself, or have an intern make changes.
  • Changeable color palette and font styles/sizes can be changed globally for the site
  • Can be adapted to any platform: Not restricted to just WordPress platform, this can be implemented on Drupal or Joomla as well. (at additional cost)
  • The relative proportions of elements can be changed– content window size, columns, icons etc.
